Created in response to the urgent need for sustainable living, above speaks not only to the environmentally-conscious but to everyone interested in the future and fate of our world by focusing on beauty and, most importantly, its preservation in all its forms. It is our firm belief that photography, the arts, fashion, architecture and design can be instrumental in raising awareness about endangered beauty and the urgent need to preserve nature. It is our discerning, highly opinionated and aesthetic vision that we aim to share with our readers. Above's team believes that the evolution of our world and the people in it matters deeply; we value respect above all, for others, for ourselves and for the world that surrounds us, wherever we may be. | This magazine was created by and for those who recognize that the true appeal of beautiful objects and places derives from their inherent rarity and fragility.
